Your app is 80% done and stuck. I unstick it.

You built something with AI or a no-code tool. It almost works. Then the build started failing, the database stopped connecting, or the App Store rejected it with a message that may as well be in another language. That's the exact problem I fix — and usually it's smaller than it feels.

I'll tell you whether I can fix it before you pay anything.

If you've said one of these out loud this week

These are the actual messages people send me. If yours isn't listed, it probably still fits — send it anyway.

"It worked yesterday."

Something changed in a dependency, a platform version, or a config file. Almost always findable.

"The build just fails."

Red error text, hundreds of lines, no obvious cause. This is a reading problem, not a coding problem.

"Login works for me but not for anyone else."

Classic auth and security-rule mismatch. Extremely common in AI-generated projects.

"Apple rejected it and I don't understand why."

Store rejections use standardized reasons. Most are a fix of under an hour once you know which one you hit.

"The database isn't saving anything."

Usually permissions or a field-type mismatch failing silently rather than throwing an error.

"AI built most of it and I can't finish it."

The most common one I see. It's typically 80% right with three specific things wrong.

What I actually work on

A deliberately narrow list. If it's outside this, I'll say so on day one rather than take your money and hope.

01 Builds & deploys

  • Builds that fail with unreadable output
  • Dependency and version conflicts
  • Deploys that succeed but ship a blank screen
  • Works in preview, breaks in production

02 Data & auth

  • Firebase and Supabase connection failures
  • Security rules blocking legitimate users
  • Login that works for one account only
  • Writes that silently don't save

03 Store submission

  • App Store and Google Play rejections
  • Missing privacy declarations and permissions
  • Signing, provisioning and certificate errors
  • Metadata and screenshot requirements

04 Half-finished projects

  • AI-generated apps that stalled at 80%
  • Projects abandoned by a previous developer
  • Broken navigation and conditional logic
  • Getting it over the line to shippable

How it works

Four steps. You find out whether I can help before any money changes hands.

01

Show me the problem

Send your project link, or just a screen recording of the thing going wrong. You don't need to know what's causing it — figuring that out is the job. A 30-second video is genuinely enough to start.

02

I tell you honestly whether I can fix it

Within a day, free. If it's outside what I do, I'll say so and point you toward someone better suited. I'd rather turn work down than take a project I can't finish.

03

I find the root cause and fix it

Not a workaround that breaks again in two weeks. You get the actual cause, in plain English, written down — so if it happens again you'll recognize it.

04

You get it back working

A verified build, a walkthrough recording of it running, and notes on anything else I noticed that's likely to bite you later.

I build these apps, so I know how they break

I'm Jackson. I build with FlutterFlow and I've taken an app of my own — CommitFit, a fitness accountability app — through the whole process including App Store Connect submission.

That matters more than it sounds. Most traditional developers won't touch no-code projects — they see the platform and decline. Most no-code builders can't debug underneath the interface — when the error is in the generated code or the platform config, they're stuck too.

I sit in that gap. I know the specific ways these projects fail, because I've hit most of them myself on my own build.

I also won't take your money if I can't help. I'd rather send you somewhere better and keep the reputation.

Tell me what's broken

You don't need to diagnose it yourself. Describe what happens, or link a recording. I'll reply within a day and tell you honestly whether this is something I can fix.

I don't know what's wrong. Can you still help?

That's most of my work. Record your screen doing the thing that fails and send me that. Working out the cause is the service — you're not expected to arrive with a diagnosis.

My app was built entirely by AI. Is that a problem?

No, it's the most common thing I see. AI-generated apps tend to fail in a predictable handful of places — authentication, database permissions, and platform configuration. I know where to look first.

What if you can't fix it?

I'll tell you before you pay. If I've already started and hit something genuinely unfixable, you get a refund and a written explanation you can hand to whoever works on it next — so the money isn't wasted either way.

Can you finish building it, not just fix it?

Often, yes. Describe where it's at and I'll quote it. Half-finished projects that need someone to take them over the line are a good chunk of what I do.

How fast can you start?

Usually the same day you get in touch. Diagnoses typically come back within 48 hours.

Your email app should have opened with everything filled in — just hit send. If nothing happened, email jacksonmonkley@gmail.com directly.
The more specific, the faster I can tell you whether I can help.

No obligation. I'll tell you honestly if it's not something I can fix.
